MINI LOAD ASRS

SIDE-PORT ASSEMBLY MODULE CONCEPT

Compact integrated assembly cell supported by an automated Mini Load storage and retrieval machine can offer several advantages.

  • Computer or PLC directed
  • Integrates with shop floor auditing systems and barcode scanning systems
  • Offer high density storage with a small footprint
  • Supports small lot and batch assembly operations

The side porting configuration may incorporate both elaborate and simple assembly cells simultaneously.

Storage Capacity and Cube Density Analysis

Mini-Load ASRS machines utilized in small lot and batch assembly / subassembly operations can be very space efficient and effective. They also provide for:
